Can Extra Underlay Be Installed Beneath SPC Flooring With Attached Backing?

Extra underlay should not be added automatically beneath SPC flooring that already has an attached pad.

An excessively soft supporting layer may allow too much vertical movement and increase stress on the click-lock joints. In some flooring systems, this can contribute to loose connections, joint separation or abnormal movement during walking.

Before adding a second layer, confirm:
